Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions are agreed upon by both parties
Service Agreement: By completing this purchase, the Participant engages ROBIN HOFFMAN, INC / DBA GET PUBLISHED COACH (Heretofore referred to as The Company) and ROBIN HOFFMAN (heretofore referred to as The Coach) to provide the services outlined in the selected program. By completing this purchase, The Participant acknowledges having read, agreed to and accepted all of the Program features as well as the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. The Company may change the Program features and/or the terms of this Agreement to meet the ever evolving needs of the Program Participants at any time by sending a revised version of the Program features or this Agreement. The Company expects the Participant to participate fully in the selected program and complete assignments in a timely manner to produce promised deliverables. For best results, work needs to be done on a consistent and timely basis. In service to The Participant getting the best results, the Participant acknowledges and accepts that any unused sessions or unattended calls will be forfeited and any extensions due to Participant delays may be cause for additional fees.
Scope of work: Any bids or fees for editing projects and/or any Get Published Coach Service or Training Program are based upon the scope of work as defined at the time of the bid and agreement. The Company reserves the right to increase the project cost by providing written notice which describes the added work and related charges when the additional work required increases the scope of work by 10% or more. The Participant must first approve in writing (email) the additional work and fees before work commences. If the Participant accepts the additional work and fees, The Participant agrees to pay all additional fees within 15 days of invoicing.
Limits of Service: The services provided to you by GET PUBLISHED COACH AND ROBIN HOFFMAN are coaching. Coaching, which is not advice, therapy or counseling, may address specific personal goals, business goals or general conditions in your life or profession. Other coaching services may include: assistance in prioritizing, brainstorming, book content development, clarifying plans of action, examining modes of operation, and holding The Participant accountable. The Coach is not qualified to provide legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and the information provided to you by the Program instructors is not intended as such. You should refer all legal, tax, accounting, and financially related inquiries to appropriately qualified professionals.

The testimonials and examples used are not intended to represent or guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. Each individual’s success depends on many factors, including his or her background, dedication, desire, and motivation. By signing below, you acknowledge that as with any business endeavor, there is an inherent risk of loss of capital and there is no guarantee that you will earn any money or obtain a literary agent or obtain a deal with a publishing house as a result of your participation in the Program. By signing below, you also acknowledge that you have represented to the Company that payment of your Program membership fees will not place a significant financial burden on you or your family. The Company shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss or damage caused, or alleged to be caused, directly or indirectly, by the information and consultation provided through this Program.
Payment: You authorize the Company to charge your credit/debit card (for any balance not yet paid), or cash your check, as payment for your use of Get Published Coach products, materials and/or participation in the Program. You agree that you are responsible for full payment for the entire Program, regardless of whether you actually attend or complete the Program, and regardless of whether you have selected a lump sum or recurring payment plan. To further clarify, all payments must be paid on a timely basis. If you are part of a recurring payment plan and need to update your credit card information, you must do so prior to your next billing date. Failure to do so will result in a $100 manual payment processing fee. Failure to immediately provide an alternative means of payment at that time will be cause for the Company to terminate this agreement, and limit, suspend, or terminate your participation in the Program without refund or forgiveness of any remaining payments. Payments made by credit/debit card will appear on your credit/debit card statement under the name Robin Hoffman, Inc., or Get Published Coach.
Refund Policy: If, after completing the program in its entirety, you are not satisfied with your results, you may request a refund within seven (7) days of completing the Program IF you attended all of your sessions, utilized all supplemental educational materials, implemented the steps as assigned, and completed all of your next actions and assignments on time.
Missed and Late Appointments: Changes in appointment times require at least 24 hours notice. Missed or rescheduled appointments in lieu of 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount for the scheduled time of the session. The Participant agrees to notify The Coach of changes or reschedule requests by an email to Robin@getpublishedcoach.com or authors101@gmail.com. It is expected that appointments will begin on time. The session officially begins and ends at the scheduled times. The Participant agrees to be in communication with the Coach upon realization that he/she will be late. If the Participant is 15 minutes late or more without being in communication, the appointment is forfeited, and the Participant will lose the entire session.
Confidentiality: The Coach agrees to protect the Participant’s confidentiality, confidential and proprietary information, ideas, plans and trade secrets to the fullest extent allowed by law. The Coach reserves the right to share anonymous information about The Participant’s experience as a “case example,” unless the Participant specifically requests that the coach not share in this way. In return, by signing below, you agree (1) not to infringe the Company’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights, (2) that any Confidential Information shared by any representative of the Company is confidential and proprietary, and belongs solely and exclusively to the Company, (3) you agree not to disclose such information to any other person or use it in any manner other than in discussion with representatives of the Company. By signing below, you further agree that (4) all materials and information provided to you by the Company are its confidential and proprietary intellectual property, belong solely and exclusively to the Company, and may only be used by you as authorized by the Company, and (5) the reproduction, distribution and sale of these materials by anyone but the Company is strictly prohibited.
Copyright: The writing and content development sessions are considered “Work for Hire.” All creative content is the sole property of The Participant who retains full ownership and copyright of all material that comes out of the coaching sessions, regardless of who thought of it.
Workability Guidelines: Having coaching work effectively is a shared responsibility. Come to your sessions on time with a clear positive intention, ask for what you want, give the Coach constructive feedback. Stay in touch throughout each month. The Coach promises to be present, authentic, unconditionally constructive, bold and forthright. This is about you winning.
